It was very sad. It's a long story but in the end her death was alcohol and painkiller related. She died alone on a bathroom floor during a party. I tell the story sometimes when I want to shake my 20 year old students. At the school where I work there had been two alcohol related deaths during the time I have been there and it drives me crazy.
She's been dead far longer than she lived.
