I learned today that the rabbi in this scene from Tony Kushner's Angels in America is played by Meryl Streep. If you are among the one percent of people who did not know that either, smoke will come out of your ears too:
Me: You know the opening scene in the HBO version of Angels in America? With the rabbi? Chad: Meryl Streep? Me: No, it's not Meryl Streep, but anyway, bla bla. Chad: It is, actually. Me: --- stunned silence --- big round eyes --- gasping for air --- Mike Whalen: Chad just made smoke come out Lotta's ears!
WHAT. I didn't make Bill's ears smoke, but I did make him almost spit out his toothpaste foam.
