I glued tiny pieces of tissue paper over the openings to close the eggs. Then they were hidden, found, and smashed over the heads of people by little kids.
See that's a good tradition now.

Hi there, a lovely tradition. Is that a typical Swedish tradition or is it common in the states too? I'm trying to find a good blogg place to start my own blogg. I came across yours by "accident". To bee completly honest, I like eggs and got suck with the beatiful pictures. As we say in sweden, Glad påsk // Micke
Making those eggs is a Mexican tradition. My boyfriend's family is of Mexican descent. I just googled, and learned that having eggs smashed on your head is supposed to bring good luck. (They never told me that part.) They are really fun to make though.
