This is a side of salmon on a bed of kosher salt. It has slits on the skin side (underneath), and a brush of olive oil on top. It went into the oven: 440 degrees (Fahrenheit, 225C) for about half an hour.

This is the side of salmon after we had dinner. It was yummy. It came with a sauce of yogurt and horseradish and a little bit of sugar.
