Bodil Malmsten

I am really sad for people who don't read Swedish, because they can't read this blog by Bodil Malmsten, one of the best authors ever. (Her post from April 6 is multilingual, though.)
Half a minute later I realize that one of her books is available in an English translation. Amazon has it. Their review doesn't sound like much though. They are wrong. But only read the book if you are prepared for Scandinavian subtlety.

Hi
just finished finistere in the bath in Oxfordshire, England.
I love it.
Im gonna use that happiness to write down what ive been meaning to say for years... how my extraordinary mother and my troubled father and all that is me and all that is them and us, is my family every day. Silence is crime worse than any other crime... so im off and running! Bon courage to me too!!!!!
