I was driving down the hill from Cal State East Bay today in the rain and the wind, when all of a sudden there was what looked like actual honest to God tumbleweed tumbling across the road. Right to left. I only ever saw that in movies before.(No, that's not the university there. I borrowed the photo. The thing I saw was less dense too.)

Hmm... how would I say "you need to get out more" in a nicer way? Anyway, there are plenty of tumbleweeds in California, wherever the climate is hot and dry.
