So I have written my syllabi for the quarter.
And just because I can I sometimes put quotes on them.
I am sure none of the students ever read them.
Or, maybe they do. When they procrastinate.
Anyway. I changed my favorite Dr. King quote:
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
To my new favorite Dr. King quote:
Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality.
I really think that's true.
Yep. So that's what they can expect in my ethnic studies class.
